Ive been going for years. The pizza is some of the best in town. Everyone is super nice and the service is very good. There's always a nice ambiance, no matter the time of day.
Don't be dismayed by the outer look of this place. Absolutely amazing! Food was some of the best pizza we've ever had. Service was incredible and our waitress was super sweet. Great prices and super clean! Recommend 10/10!!!
This has got to be the best pizza in the Albany area. I've seen a lot of chain restaurants come but there's consistency with them. A MUST when you're in town or just in the mood for pizza or authentic Italian. I wish they had later hours on the weekends though.

I am giving this place a nostalgic 5 stars. I have been enjoying Picnic Pizza for decades since it was at the mall and on Slappey. The regular waitresses are great. I will say the individual slice quality control has reduce in recent years. Sometimes the slice will be only about four bites of cheese and the rest was bubbled up and burnt towards the crust. But I still go back as an Albany staple so that says it all. It is worth a visit. I know they have other good looking sandwiches although I haven't ordered them before.
